I just coded bfi-to-avi decoder and can send it to you if you interested. (Hope that “negative avi width” problem already fixed in mplayer).

Neat. If you happen to know the precise details, I would love to see them in the MultimediaWiki. Then I could see the schlocky FMV without having to figure out the inane sequence of steps. :-)
